During the years of the rise of the band,

KK Wilde were feautred in some of the rock world's premier magazines.

 

The Music Connection (regarded as the bible of the Music Business), announced the first gig from the band at the famous Whiskey-A-Go-Go, as well as reviews and features.

 

Kerrange magazine, in Japan, featured the band. The group was covered by over 20 magazines over the years and to this date there are still articles, mentions, questions and inquisitions as to what happend with the band.  They are kind of the modern day "Eddie and The Crusiers" story. 

 

Around the very climax of their quick rise as one of the premier indie 80's power groups, they were gone.  Two Cds, a deal, an incredible fan base worldwide, MTV Videos and touring and then there was silence.  Upon some divisons between the leaders and the money the band was feeling the pressure of this quick rise. The press was all over the band about information about putting the band on hold, but the official story will be told on their soon to be released DVD.

 

Billboard Magazine and Cash Box announced every Cd they made along with Variety Magazine. 

 

 

The press loved KK WILDE and it showed very early on in their careers.

Through the Years.

Rock n Roll.

From the day KK Wilde was formed the band was featured in the press constantly.  The first magazine to write on the band was the famous Kerrange UK. After that Japan followed along with Billboard and many other trade magazines.  The band was not just a pretty boy band. Kris and the band were businessmen.  Most of the bands of that time came from the Sunset Strip.  KK WIlde origins were in Texas, Washington and Colorado.  The band was not just all about partying and drugs. KK Wilde treated their band like a business and that resulted in them being able to make a living in this business.  Most platinum bands were broke.  KK Wilde was gaining popularity by creating a national base of fans. They set up a 1-800 number and soon the press were taking notice and featuring the band along side the likes of Ratt, Bon Jovi, Whitesnake and others, and that is why the press and radio respected their independence and business acumen.
